The building housing this restaurant was formerly Tinks, a popular dining destination in the Ludlow Street district of Clifton near the University of Cincinnati. Originally, however, it was the Clifton Branch Post Office, a fact that was not lost on the owners (or us). Much of the exterior design was accomplished economically through elimination of the elements that hid the building’s former identity. The interior gained abundant ambient natural light and the seating arrangement was left open and decorated with a few minimalist references to the post office and the idea of an elegant eatery.

The original metal stamped ceiling was refinished as was the original wood floor. The lighting did the rest. The restaurant also expands into a a former jewelry store which includes a more intimate dining area and an extensive temperature controlled wine room. The restaurant’s popularity has grown and it is now a primary destination in Clifton.
